Tarpaulin

SO Stationary Head

The SO range offers the customer a very flexible method of producing tarpaulin products including HGV curtains, marquees, tents and large structures. The SO machine can be supplied with an integrated generator supplying a power output of 8, 12 or 15 kw. The generator is placed on the bottom of the machine to allow easy installation onto the frame.

The GEAF antiflash system protects the tooling from damage in the event of a flashover and the design of the suspended press frame construction allows easy welding of bulky, complex items.

The press has two parallel electrodes with an adjustable distance of 5mm to 200mm. It also has a multipolar electric cable connecting the upper and lower machine extendable to customer requirements. The working cycle is controlled by a panel in the upper suspended press.

STR Traveling Head

The STR range offers the customer a very flexible method of producing tarpaulin products including HGV curtains, marquees, tents and large structures. The machine table length increases to the client's specification by 2m increments.

A large trough at the rear of the table allows easy access to the welding area where small or large tarpaulin sheets can be loaded. Auto-tuning anode power ensures controlled welding of the product. Operation settings are programmed into the PLC unit. The power is then monitored and automatically adjusted.

Leg supports are automatically operated by pneumatically controlled cylinders - themselves controlled by limit switches set under the trough. The trough support legs automatically lift and drop out of the path of the moving machine.

St Stationary Head

The ST stationary head range of tarpaulin welders offer the customer a very flexible method of producing tarpaulin products including HGV curtains, marquees, tents and large structures. The SO machine can be supplied with an integrated generator supplying a power output of 8, 12 or 15 kw.

The operator is protected by a pneumatically operated plexiglass guarding system with a lower touch sensitive sensor. The guard is operated by foot pedals and lowered by pneumatic cylinders and must be in the lower position to start the press cycle - thus ensuring maximum safety.

All timers, power regulators and alarm lamps are positioned inside a control panel on the left of the machine. A pneumatically controlled tool clamping system allows quick and easy tool changovers.
